Visitors are always welcome to view lessons
at schools. Questions about Hapkido and classes are encouraged at the beginning or end of each class. While a personal visit to a class is the only real way to gain an appreciation of Hapkido, enquiries can also be made by telephone.
Hapkido is an ideal alternative to training in
other martial arts like karate, taekwondo,
aikido and judo. The HIA's traditional
Korean syllabus combines skills from all of
these martial arts into one logically
structured course of study. Many of our
members have come to us from other styles. New members are always welcome.
TASMANIA:
H.I.A Hapkido Perth Tasmania.
Quality Hapkido martial arts and self
defence training in the northern midlands,
convenient to Longford, Perth, Evandale and
Campbell Town. Classes are held at the Perth Community Centre,
from 6:30 pm to 7:30pm, each Monday & Wednesday.
The instructor is Jeff Grubb. Jeff is very experienced
in Korean martial arts, having trained for many years. He
holds 3rd Dan in Hapkido and also has experience in Taekwondo.
He teaches in a friendly, relaxed manner with just the right amount
of discipline. First class is free and vistors/enquiries are
welcome.

H.I.A Hapkido Devonport
Tasmania
Providing Hapkido, martial arts, self
defence training in Devonport Tasmania, including Ulverstone,
Latrobe, Port Sorell. We are very excited to re-establish the
Devonport Hapkido classes once held there by our founder, Grand
Master Kim, many years ago. Instructor Stewart Farr holds a
degree in education and is employed as a primary school teacher.
He is an excellent role model, particularly for junior Hapkido
students. Classes are held on Monday and Wednesday nights.
